National Nurses Week 2015

It is unbelievable that I have been a RN for almost 24 years! I have had a long journey in the nursing profession and still believe I chose a worthy, respectable profession.  I have a few good friends who told me more than once they wish they had chosen nursing as their field of expertise. I am now a nurse entrepreneur and very proud to be providing quality home health care/nursing care/services to our beloved adults, baby boomers and elderly.

I am sure some people are aware but I am very excited to announce National Nurses Week was celebrated on May 6th and ended on May 12th, our founder Florence Nightingale's birthday. Those dates celebrate our week each and every year and acknowledge the annual celebration as an established recognition event. My family celebrated me by giving me a lovely card and beautiful genuine crystal sterling silver earrings!

The American Nurses Association theme for 2015 is "Ethical Practice Quality Care" and they support and encourage National Nurses Week recognition programs through the state and district nurses associations, other specialty nursing organizations, educational facilities, and independent health care companies and institutions. Angel Nurseworks strongly believes that theme is to be practiced continuously by all health care providers.

On behalf of Angel Nurseworks (Home Health Care/Private Duty Nursing Services) I want to acknowledge Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. and every nurse in the entire world. Congratulations and Happy National Nurses Week!

Nurses may you continue to enhance, enrich, and save the lives of many!

Wishing you well in all that you do!
