New Year Declaration!

Wow, 2017 literally flew by! I can't believe we are almost 2 weeks into 2018!  I am thankful to still be here and hope to be a blessing to others. 

In the past, I like many others had several New Year resolutions but would not be able to carry out as expected. For the past few years I decided to recite a New Year declaration. It is very positive and uplifts me in every aspect of my life. 

My declaration for 2018 is Maintain Positivity In All Situations! That declaration was influenced by the Pastor at my church. It will be challenging to maintain such a declaration at all times no matter what is happening around me. I will try my best to honor it every day. Reality kicks in at times and one may not always feel like acting on a declaration or resolution. Honestly, life happens and you may feel and speak negative thoughts. I personally make a great effort to negate negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. I must say not an easy feat, but something I am working on. I also catch myself when I am about to say something negative. I am determined to keep my New Year declaration on the tip of my tongue! There is always something to be grateful for. Also, I believe my Heavenly Father has great things in store for me.
